The key aims are to improve vocational education delivery by teachers of several fields of study while deepening the skills and abilities of these specialists in their respective spheres, and to stimulate constant employee development.
Between January 1, 2010 and December 31, 2010, a total of 9 Estonian vocational teachers (3 teachers of Auto Repair, Service and Diagnostics; 3 Agriculture teachers; 1 teachers of Food Preparation and Service; 1 teachers of Logistics; and 1 teachers of Warehouse Management) will be sent to the Germany to participate in job shadowing, workshops and trainings run by associated partner for validation of skills.
Teachers will have an opportunity to meet industry experts, network and compare experiences gained in each country. Expected outcomes are that teachers will receive updating of skills and abilities, assessment of skills, and Europass certification.
Likewise, there will be transference of knowledge to Estonia as teachers share new methods among all study disciplines while highlighting the national differences.
